Surplus Furniture has been a proud supporter of the Nanny Angel Network for many years. The Nanny Angel network is an organization that provides childcare to mothers with cancer to assist in taking care of their children, giving the mothers a chance to get well while still knowing their children are being cared for. Audrey Guth the founder, was recently voted a local hero by CNN. The Nanny Angels are fully vetted, caring and trained volunteers who support the children throughout the parent's cancer journey. Parents are comforted knowing their kids are in safe, caring hands which helps reduce unneeded stress while they focus on their own well-being.

Surplus Furniture has been a proud supporter of the Sick Kids Foundation. Through financial support along with supporting the Hospital Activity Book For Children. A book that became an instant success through community and business support. The book is shared in hospitals, medical service units, pediatric centres, victim service units and many other services – wherever kids are in need of a healthy distraction during a challenging time.

Surplus Furniture has been a proud supporter of our local police, fire and veterans. Every year, we provide support by placing ads within their community guides along with supporting the Wall of Remembrance.
